100. I used ShopKo's "Kid Tough Promise"again today. I turned in the two pairs of Micah's jeans that I got in March and got back two fresh pairs again. It's SO great!

99. I got 6 tubes of a discontinued lip color that I LOVE on eBay for .99 cents each! (they retail for about $6.00)

98. The debilitating headache I had earlier tonight has receded to a tolerable level.

97. Very enjoyable trip with my family today to Shoshone Falls (near Twin Falls, Idaho).

96. I didn't have to make the trip in a covered wagon.

95. Watching my kids run down a steep, grassy slope over and over hollering "I can't stop!"

94. Watching my kids rolling down the same grassy slope.

93. Watching Adam trying to keep up with the big kids while running down the slope with his sunglasses bouncing on his nose.

92. Watching Adam do face plant after face plant and enjoying every minute.

91. Watching Jim try to keep up with Adam and keep him from hurting himself too badly.

90. While not perfect, the kids were pretty great in the car - 2 1/4 hour drive each way.

89. Reliable van that gets us from here to there without breaking down.

86. Jim took care of dinner, kids, and dishes when my headache struck and I went to bed for an hour.

85. Adam fell asleep tonight while I was reading to him in the rocking chair. It was great. I don't get to do that with him very often now because I'm usually taking care of Abby at that time. She was already sleeping so I got some Adam time. Very nice.

84. Found everything on my list at Wal*Mart tonight. Usually they are out of something that's on my list and I get so irritated. So this was a real blessing tonight!

83. My homebody, Rebecca, actually wanted to go to the store with me tonight even though we had already been on a road trip today.

82. Due to donations/fundraisers at church and Rebecca's volunteer work, church camp for both kids was virtually paid for. We only had to come up with $20!!

81. I finished my little stone fire pit for the backyard.

80. The kids and I cooked hot dogs and marshmallows for lunch yesterday (in the new fire pit).

79. Abby slept 6 1/2 hours in one stretch last night. Very wonderful!

78. Yummy pot roast last night.

77. I got an appointment with the massage therapist and chiropractor THE SAME WEEK I called. I wasn't expecting that!

76. I live on a hill and don't have to worry about my house flooding.

75. I got to build a bunk-bed fort with Adam this morning and read to him in it.

44. I found the attachment I was missing for my vacuum cleaner. Finally prayed about it after several days and then found it within moments of praying. Wow!

42. Micah's attitude about school. Today he said, "I really like school. I don't know why. I guess I just like learning stuff."

41. It's SUCH a blessing how Jim helps out so much with housework!

40. Rebecca made brownies tonight with very minimal help from me. She also helped dice peppers for dinner. :-)

39. A great dentist visit that doubled as a little, mini, getaway for me today. (Pathetic, I know! What's even more strange is that when I started to stress out a little bit I relaxed by reliving my labor with Abby. It was a pretty peaceful labor.)

31. Got some very sweet pictures of Abby today. I've been having a hard time getting her to smile when I get the camera out. Not today!

30. $28.00 dollars in credit to spend at Other Mothers. I got rid of outgrown clothes that were taking up space and bought some cute stuff for Abby and Rebecca! Yeah!

29. Automatic transmissions. (I drove Jim's standard transmission pick-up for the first time today. I remembered how but I'm thankful for automatics!)

27. A late night run to the store with Adam (my 2 y.o.). It allowed me some one-on-one time with him which is really hard to come by right now. It was a lot of fun! :-)

26. Dr. Swanson was able to work Rebecca in today. (She has strep throat and scarlet fever.)

24. Really, really good medical insurance.

23. In-Laws that care about us a lot.

22. A green light when I needed it! (So Abby wouldn't wake up!)

22. Baja Fresh and a husband willing to stop there and pick up a Chicken Fajita Burrito for me and bring it home after work since I hadn't had a real meal yet today.

21. God's grace. It frees me from the need to be perfect and empowers me to be better than I would be on my own.

20. A husband willing to work at a job he dislikes because it provides well for us and enables him to be home with us quite a bit.

19. The willing heart of my 7-year-old son. He's usually so compliant that I have to be careful not to overlook him. He is a peaceful calm in the midst of some tumultuous "mom vs. kids" times.

I'm holding him and then he sits up in bed...
Adam: I need Tigger hold me. I no have Tigger. I need Pooh hold me.
Me: Adam, lay back down on your Pooh pillow and go to sleep now.

15. Fresh clean drinking water anytime I want it.

14. A husband willing to rub my very achy neck and shoulders

13. I weathered a 'nine-year-old daughter storm' today better than ever. I truly felt God's presence there as I tried so hard (and succeeded) to not lose patience with her. She apologized later for her tantrum. It was a good conversation.

12. Combined shots so that Abby "only" had to have 3 injections instead of 5!

11. Insurance that pays for immunizations and doctor visits.

10. My husband's job that allows for sick days on a family member's behalf. Abby had her 2-month well child check-up/immunizations today.

9.) Saw a segment on the Today Show that really reaffirmed my efforts as a stay-at-home mom. It helped me remember that I am doing what I was called to be doing. It helps me be more patient and kind when I remember that I am doing a job commissioned by God!

8.) A warm cozy house.

7.) A great day with my kids. Made banana bread and sugar cookie dough.

Welcome to my newest blog. I came across someone's blog where they were listing all the blessings they could see in their life. When I can figure out who it was, I'll post it here (found it!!) and give them the credit because I'm totally stealing that idea! If anyone knows who that is, please let me know.

I really need to daily identify the blessings in my life and give thanks to God. I've felt so down lately and I just need to be more thankful. This will be my attempt to blessing blog.
